The Lincolnshire REC is a voluntary sector organisation established since 2002 to:
- Work towards eliminating racial discrimination
- Campaign for equality
- Promote good relations between persons of different racial groups across the county of Lincolnshire.
As well as working locally, we are part of as network of RECs which is linked regionally and nationally to the Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR).
Lincolnshire REC is sponsored by Lincolnshire County Council, CEHR and Big Lottery Funding.

Key targets |
Lincolnshire Racial Equality Councils Key Targets:
- To work partnerships with local community organisations e.g. local service providers for complying with their legal duties
- To develop new resources in support of all our partnerships and stakeholders to promote best practice across Lincolnshire
- To successfully deliver a minimum of 80% of our service level agreements agreed with our existing sponsors
- To realign our services in keeping with Government’s (single) Equality and Human Rights framework
