	The NNREC has been going now for 52 years and is an organization set up to: - Challenge racism and discrimination Promote equality of opportunities Work towards developing good race and community relations across Nottinghamshire The REC specialises in: - Employment Housing Racial harassment Provide immigration advice and support Work in education Criminal justice The REC is funded by: - Nottingham City and County Council The Commission for Racial Equality Nottinghamshire Children’s Fund

Key targets	Our work is with: - Schools, colleges and two universities Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire CC Police Employers, private, statutory & voluntary Housing agencies Probation and social services Criminal justice services etc Prisons The REC helps in ways such as: - Helping organisations develop policies & action plans Training, information and advice Partnership work with other agencies/groups Undertake racism and discrimination cases
